This week's Disneybound is Marie from the Aristocats. I have always loved the Aristocats, and Marie has always been my favorite character from the movie. I took her motto to heart long ago: "Ladies don't start fights, but they can finish them!" I adore how cute yet sassy she is. She wants to be a perfect lady like her mother Duchess, but she is just a little too sassy for her own good sometimes. I was so excited to bring her to life in this Disneybound, as simple as it was.
For this Disneybound, I wanted to keep it simple, which isn't hard to do with Marie. Her colors are white and pink, and at least one pink bow is required. I decided to go with white pants, a white shirt, a white cardigan, and a pink bow headband. The pants are by Gloria Vanderbilt, and I got them at Kohl's. The white shirt was a Time and Tru from Walmart, and the cardigan was by 89th and Madison from Ross. The headband was done by Bella Notte & Co., which is a small shop I found on Instagram a couple of years ago and fell in love with. It is such a simple bound, but I think fairly effective. I kept my makeup and jewelry simple. For my jewelry, I just wore a silver charm bracelet, my usual silver ring, and simple silver teardrop earrings. For my makeup, I decided to keep it to a basic, everyday look. I went with a pink-tinted neutral eyeshadow, brown and silver eyeliner, pink lipstick, blush, highlighter, and mascara. It's simple and basic, but I loved the look. What do you think? Did I nail it, or fall a little short?
