Disneybound of the Week 2: Ariel

This week, I wanted to pay homage to the princess who most recently got a live-action remake. However, I wanted to stick with the classic mermaid version. To do a mermaid Ariel Disneybound, you want to stick with primarily purple and green colors with pops of red. Seashell, fork, and fish accents are great, Obviously, the larger the fork the better, since it makes an even better dinglehopper. For this outfit, I wore a purple top with green leggings. I wore plain silver post earrings and a silver charm bracelet. I chose to charm bracelet because I remembered an episode of the Little Mermaid show in which Ariel found a charm bracelet that got stuck on her wrist. It took her the whole episode to figure out how to get it off. I also got a silver fork to hold during some of the pictures. I was accompanied by Flounder and Sebastian for these pictures. They were two small plush that I've had since I was a kid. I pulled them back out just for these pictures. I got my top at Academy Sports and Outdoors, and I got my leggings at TJMaxx. I made the charm bracelet myself with charms I bought at Hobby Lobby. For my makeup, I went with a mermaid-inspired look. My eyeshadow was all blues and purples, with purple and silver eyeliner. I also went with a more dramatic mascara than normal. I went with a mauve colored lip gloss to give it a wet, glossy look. All of the rest of my makeup was shimmery and neutral. It's a fun look. I've always loved Ariel, so I love getting to dress like her any chance I get.

What do you think of the look?
