Disneybound of the Week 16: Evil Queen

This week's Disneybound continues the month of villains with the original villain. Yep, that's right, we're talking about the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She's one of the most iconic villains of all time, and it's easy to understand why. She's both regal and intimidating; elegant and classy, but also scary. This was such a fun Disneybound to do. It was probably one of my best, yet. I did figure out, though, that her signature pose is much harder to pull off than I thought. I think part of it had to do with the camera angle, but there wasn't much I could do with that. I had to put the tripod on the stairs, and I couldn't raise it any higher while still being stable. Oh well, if I do this one again, I will try to fix that problem. So, enough rambling, let's get on with it, shall we?

For this Disneybound, the Evil Queen's color scheme is purple and black with pops of red, gold, and white. I wore a black pleated skirt by Vince Camuto that I got at Sam's Club. I wore a purple shirt by St. John's Bay that I got at JCPenney. I paired that with a black jacket from Kohl's that came out in a Beauty and the Beast collection in 2017. For shoes, I wore black high heels by Nine West that I got at Ross. I topped the outfit with a gold crown from ShopDisney. It's technically a Belle crown, but it's the only one I have, and it worked. For my jewelry, I wore a gold bangle that used to belong to my mom, gold and red earrings, and a gold and red heart necklace that I got at Kohl's. For my makeup, I based the look on the Evil Queen's makeup in the original animated film. I wore dark purple eyeshadow, black eyeliner, darker blush, and red lipstick. I kept the rest of my makeup pale and fairly matte. I think it all turned out pretty well, but what do you think? Let me know in the comments.
