Disneybound of the Week 10: Magic Kingdom

This week's Disneybound kicks off a series on the Walt Disney World parks. I'm going in order of park opening, so that means that I begin with the Magic Kingdom. I took my inspiration from Cinderella Castle, while trying to evoke the timeless fairytale-like quality that is always associated with the Magic Kingdom. I also wanted to incorporate other aspects of the park, like the ruggedness of Frontierland and the futuristic quality of Tomorrowland. The Magic Kingdom is my favorite park, so I wanted to make sure that I did this park justice. Honestly, though, I'm not sure how well this bound translated. However, I did my best, and I would love to hear your opinions. So, let's breakdown this look, shall we?

For this Disneybound, I decided to go with the pink, blue, grey, and gold color scheme of Cinderella Castle. To achieve this look, I wore a pink shirt, blue jeans, gold heels, gold jewelry, and a grey moto jacket. The pink shirt is by Calvin Klein, and I got it at Belk. I love the lacy sleeves on this shirt. It's so dreamy and sweet. I was shopping with friends when I found it, and they agreed that it looked like me. Fortunately, I was able to get it on clearance. The jeans that I wore are Seven7 brand, and I got them from Sam's Club. I decided on the blue jeans to give a nod to Frontierland. The moto jacket is by Apt. 9, and I got it at Kohl's several years ago, but it has become a favorite staple piece in my wardrobe. I decided on this moto jacket to give a nod to Tomorrowland. The gold heels are by Jessica Simpson, and I bought them at Ross. The gold ring that I wore came from Hobby Lobby. The gold and pearl chandelier earrings came from JC Penney, and the gold bangle I wore once belonged to my mother. While I am absolutely in love with this outfit, and these photos, I'm not sure they scream Magic Kingdom. What do you think? Do you like this look, or not so much? Give me your thoughts in the comments.
